Qualification:
Inspector: The officers of the Central
Government or State Government or Union Territories:- Holding analogous posts
on regular basis in the parent cadre or department: or With 5 years’ service in
the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in “Pay
Band-2 of Rs 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs 4200/- in the parent cadre or
department•, and educational following. Possessing the qualifications and
experiences: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university;
and Two years’ experience in handling of cases of investigation of criminal
cases, or intelligence work or operations or Information Technology cases or
Training in counter terrorism.
Sun Inspector: The officers of the Central
Government or State Government or Union Territories: Holding analogous posts in
regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or (ii) With 6 years’ service
in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in ‘the Pay
Band-I of Rs 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs 2800/- in the parent cadre or
endearment; and Possessing the following educational qualifications and
experiences:- (i) Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized
university; and (ii) Experience of two years in cases of investigation of
criminal intelligence work or operation Information Technology cases or counter
terrorism. handling Of cases, Training in
Assistant Sub Inspector: Officers of the Central Police
Organisations or State Police Organisations or Government Intelligence or other
investigation bodies:Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent
cadre or department; or Head Constable in the scale of pay of Rs 5200-
20200 plus GP or Rs 2400 5 years’ of service, in the grade in the State or
Central Police organizations; and Possessing the following educational
qualifications and experience:
Bachelor’s degree
from a recognized university or equivalent: and Experience of at least 2
years in the field of investigation of criminal cases, or intelligence work or
operations information management. Officers of the Central Police Organisations
or State Police Organisations or Government Intelligence or other investigation
bodies: Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or
department; or Head Constable in the scale of pay of Rs 5200- 20200 plus
GP or Rs 2400 5 years’ of service, in the grade in the State or Central Police
organizations; and Possessing the following educational qualifications
and experience: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent:
and Experience of at least 2 years in the field of investigation of criminal
cases, or intelligence work or operations information management.
